GDS Pay Revision.

Dte, New Delhi Memo No : 6-1 / 2009-PE-II Dt. 09.10.09.

01. TRCA : TRCA to be implemented wef 01.01.06. TRCA for GDS will be fixed as, Basic TRCA as on 01.01.06 + 5% increase as on 01.04.04 x 1.74 + 40% fitment as arrived at the 20th stage of Pre-revised TRCA & fixation at next above the stage in the Revised Slab of TRCA.

02. TRCA : GDS engaged on or after 01.01.06 shall be fixed at Min of Revised TRCA.

03. Arrears : Will be Paid in 2 instalments. 40% in 2009 – 10 & 60% in 2010 – 11. TRCA Fixation & Arrears 40% will be Paid before 31.10.09.

04. Annual Increase : GDS before 01.01.06, new TRCA fix on 01.01.06 & Annual Increase will be allowed after completion of 12 months ie) 01.01.07. GDS after 01.01.06, Annual Increase will be allowed after 12 months. GDS Leave / PoD on 01.01.06, TRCA fixed on the Dt of joining.

08. Maternity Grant : Women GDS will be provided Maternity Grant equivalent to 3 months TRCA with DA for 2 children out of Welfare Fund.

09. Bonus : Rs.2500 as per existing procedure.

10. Group Ins : Monthly Subscription Rs.50 with coverage of Rs.50,000 wef Jan 2010.

11. Office Maintenance Allowance : Old – Rs.50 per Month. New Rs.100 per month.

12. FSC per month : Old Rs.10. New Rs.25 for SPM / BPM & Rs.10 for others.

13. Boat Allowance : Old Rs.10. New Actual charges subject to Max of Rs.50 per month.

14. Cash Conveyance : Old Rs.10 + Bus Fare. New Rs.50 per month.

15. Cycle Maintenance Allowance : Old Rs.30 per month. New Rs.60. No 10 Km condition.

16. Combined Duty for BPMs : Old Rs.100. New Rs.500 for Delivery & Rs.500 for conveyance of Mails. Delivery at BO Village Rs.250. BPM exchanging Mails at Bus Stand or Railway Stations Rs.250.

17. Combination of Duties for MD / MC : Old Rs.75. New Rs.25 per day Max Rs.625 month.

18. Compensation for MCs detained for Exchange of Mails : Old Rs.3 per hour Max Rs.6 per day. New Rs.6 per hour Max Rs.12 per day.

19. Ex-Gratia Gratuity : Half months Basic TRCA for each completed year to Max Rs.18,000 or 16.5 months Basic TRCA last drawn whichever is less. Min service 15 yrs.
New : Continuance of existing formulae subject to Max Rs.60,000.

20. Severance Amount : Rs.30,000 for 20 years service. Service of 15 to 20 years Rs.20,000.
New : Rs.1500 for every completed service years Max Rs.60,000. Min service 10 years.

21. Undertaking : GDSs should submit Undertaking for accepting this New Fixation.
